MPSC Department Recruitment: Maharashtra Public Service Commission has announced the advertisement for the State Service Examination.
This advertisement has been published for 385 posts under various departments. This examination will be held on September 28 and will be held at 37 district centers in the state. This information has been given by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

Department-wise, applications will be accepted for 127 posts from the General Administration Department (State Services). There are 144 posts in the Revenue and Forest Department (Maharashtra Forest Service). While the Public Works Department (Civil Engineering Services) will be recruiting for 114 posts. According to the advertisement for the State Services Examination published by the Commission, applications can be made from March 28 to April 17. The online application fee can be paid through challan from April 17 to April 21.
The commission has been continuously postponing the advertisement of the exam for the past two months. Students had expressed their displeasure over the delay in issuing the advertisement for the state service exam as per the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) 2025 schedule.
However, the wait of lakhs of students is over with the announcement of the exam and the commission released the advertisement on Tuesday (18). Lakhs of students in the state are likely to apply for the exam, which has been advertised for 385 seats.
