Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must be domicile of Jammu & Kashmir. Educational qualifications differ according to the post applied for:
- Stock Assistant / Helper Posts:
Candidates should have passed 10th standard with Science as one of the subjects. - Junior Supervisor / Checker Level Posts:
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board - Works / Site Supervisor Posts:
Applicants must have passed 10th class along with a relevant trade certificate in areas such as construction, carpentry, or similar technical fields from a recognized institute. - Fisheries Related Posts:
A Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science or Life Sciences (with Zoology or related subjects) is required. Degrees related to industrial fishing may also be accepted. - Supervisor (Social Welfare – Female Posts):
Candidates should hold a graduate degree, preferably in subjects related to social work, child development, home science, or family studies. - Motor Vehicle Inspector / Vehicle Checking Posts:
Applicants must possess a degree or diploma in automobile or mechanical engineering, along with a valid driving licence for motorcycles (with gear) and light motor vehicles. - Motor Vehicle Traffic Assistant Posts:
Candidates should have passed 10th standard, hold a relevant ITI or trade certificate in vehicle repair, and possess a valid driving licence. - Technical & Support Posts (Fitter, Mechanic, Greaser, Cleaner, etc.):

Examination Procedure of JKSSB
The test is objective-type with multiple-choice questions in English only.
- Each incorrect response will attract a negative marking as per examination rule
- Venue and date to be announced on official website.
- Admit cards downloadable one week prior; bring photo ID and recent photos.
PwBD candidates can request scribe/compensatory time (20 minutes/hour) with proper certification.
Selection Methodology
