Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the required educational qualifications and age criteria set by Gujarat University.
Educational Qualifications
- Junior Clerk / Senior Clerk:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates must have basic computer knowledge, preferably with CCC or CCC+ certification.
- Laboratory Assistant:
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant science stream.
- Registrar / Director Positions:
- Ph.D. degree along with substantial experience in academic administration or related fields.
- Accounts Officer / Chief Accounts Officer:
- Qualified CA/ICWA or Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance with relevant professional experience.
- Technical and Engineering Roles:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Computer, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), or a Diploma in the concerned technical trade.
- Librarian:
- Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science from a recognized institution.

Minimum Age: 18
Maximum Age: As prescribed under Gujarat Government recruitment rules (varies by post category).

Selection Procedure for GU Non-Teaching Post
The university will select candidates through a clear, step-by-step procedure. The exact stages may vary depending on the post applied for:
