Required Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Forest Guard / Field Guard: Applicants should have completed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board.
- Assistant Jail Superintendent: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with 12th qualification.
- Only qualifications obtained from recognized boards or universities will be accepted.
- Candidates from any language background (Hindi or English medium) are eligible to apply.
Age Conditions
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 33 Years
- The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Physical Eligibility Criteria
- Height Requirement: Male: 163 cm, Female: 150 cm
- Chest Measurement (Male Candidates Only): Normal: 79 cm
- Expansion: Minimum 5 cm
- Physical Test: Candidates are required to qualify a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) after clearing the written examination.
Selection Procedure of MPESB Recruitment 2026
The recruitment process is conducted in four different phases:
Phase 1: Written Test
- The exam will consist of 100 objective-type (MCQ) questions.
- Exam Duration: 2 hours
- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
- Questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Mathematics, and Hindi/English.
- Candidates need to achieve the minimum qualifying marks, which may differ depending on the category.
Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Only candidates who clear the written exam will be invited for this stage.
- The test includes activities such as running, long jump, high jump, and rope climbing.
- Separate criteria are set for male and female candidates.
- Not qualifying in any activity will result in disqualification from further rounds.
Phase 3: Certificate Verification
- Shortlisted candidates must present their original documents for verification.
- Required documents include educational certificates, date of birth proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and valid ID/address proof.
- Any mismatch or incorrect information may lead to rejection of candidature.
Phase 4: Medical Check-up
- This is the final stage of the recruitment process.
- Candidates who clear all previous rounds must undergo a medical fitness examination.
- Final selection depends on meeting the prescribed health standards set by the authorities.
