National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)! Through Advertisement No. 01/2025/Non-Academic, NCERT is hiring for 173 non-teaching positions across Group A, B, and C. These include roles like Lower Division Clerk, Lab Assistant, Store Keeper, Engineer, Production Officer, and many others. Opportunities exist for candidates with 10th pass, 12th pass, graduates, post-graduates, or engineering backgrounds. Postings will be at NCERT headquarters in New Delhi, CIET, regional institutes, and units in places like Bhopal, Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, and Shillong.

Basic Eligibility Guide

  • LDC: 12th pass + typing speed (35 wpm English / 30 wpm Hindi)
  • Lab Assistant: Bachelor’s in relevant subject
  • Technical Roles: 10th/12th + ITI/Diploma or Degree in related field
  • Group A Roles: B.E./B.Tech, Master’s, or PG Diploma + experience

Age Limits (as on 16 Jan 2026)

  1. Group A: Up to 35–50 years (post-specific)
  2. Group B: Up to 30 years
  3. Group C: Up to 27 years
Age Relaxation
  • SC/ST:- 5 years
  • OBC:- 3 years
  • PwBD:- 10 years

Pay Scale Level with Group

  • Group A: Level 10–12
  • Group B: Level 6–7
  • Group C: Level 2–5

Mode of Selection

  • Group A: Written test + interview (or interview only for some)
  • Group B & C: Written exam and/or skill test (typing/proficiency – qualifying nature)
  • Final list based on written marks.
