  Ph.D. in Basic Sciences / Humanities / Agricultural Sciences + Master’s (65% min.) + 12 years’ experience (5 as Professor)
• Director (Genetics, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology):
  Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Genetics / Plant Breeding + 12 years’ experience (5 as Professor)
• Senior Biotechnologist:
  Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics + 8 years’ teaching/research experience
• Food Technologists, Botanist, Molecular Cytogeneticist, Plant Biotechnologist, Entomologist, Soil Chemist:
  Master’s in relevant discipline with NET (or Ph.D. exemption)
• Assistant Professor (Engineering & Agriculture):
  Master’s in relevant field with NET (relaxation applicable for some posts; Ph.D. exempts NET where specified)

• Assistant Librarian:
  Master’s in Library Science with NET (or Ph.D.)
• District Extension Scientist (Agricultural Economics):
  Master’s in Agricultural Economics with NET (or Ph.D.)
• Clerk:
  Bachelor’s degree + computer course (120 hrs / O-level) + typing speed 30 WPM (English & Punjabi)
• Bee Keeper:
  10+2 (Science) + 1 year experience OR Matric + Diploma in Agriculture + experience
• Ward Attendant:
  10+2 + 2–5 years hospital experience + Punjabi knowledge

General/OBC Candidates:

• ₹1298 (incl. GST) for most positions
• ₹354 (incl. GST) for Clerk & Bee Keeper
• ₹118 (incl. GST) for Ward Attendant

SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: No fee

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 37 years
• Relaxation: Applicable as per Punjab Government norms for SC, BC, EWS, and PwD categories. Contract employees may be eligible for relaxation up to 45 years in specific cases.
