Eligibility Requiremets

1. Education PSSSB Clerk

  • Maximum: 37 years

Age Relaxation (extra years allowed):

  • SC/ST/BC candidates: +5 years
  • SC/ST/BC women: +8 years
  • General category women: +3 years
  • Persons with Disability (PH): +10 years

3. Nationality

  • You must be an Indian citizen

Selection Methodology

The selection for these Clerk positions happens in these main steps:

  • Written Exam: An objective-type test with multiple-choice questions.
    • Part A: Punjabi language (qualifying only – you must pass this).
    • Part B: Covers general knowledge, reasoning, computer basics, etc. (this decides your merit/rank).
  • Typing Test: You need to type at least 30 words per minute (WPM) in both English and Punjabi. This test is qualifying – you just need to clear it.
  • Document Check: After clearing the above stages, your original certificates and documents will be verified.

Final selection is based on marks in the written exam (Part B), provided you pass the Punjabi qualifying part, typing test, and document verification.
