Eligibility Requirements

  • MBBS degree plus MD/MS/DNB or equivalent diploma from a recognized university or institution approved by the Medical Council of India.
  • Registered with Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of India.
  • Passed Punjabi subject up to 10th grade (matric) level.
  • For foreign medical graduates: Include FMGE pass certificate.
  • Experience: Not mandatory, but bring certificates if any.

Age Limit

Maximum age is 64 years as on January 1, 2026.

Fees and Benefits

  • OPD: ₹100
  • IPD: ₹100
  • Major Surgeries/Caesarean: ₹3,500
  • Minor Surgeries: ₹1,000

  • Emergency Call: ₹1,500 per visit

  • To withdraw: Give 1-month written notice to Civil Surgeon or pay 1-month minimum fee.
  • Civil Surgeon can terminate anytime without notice or reason.
  • Extension based on performance review by department.
  • If false info found, empanelment canceled plus legal action.
