Who Can Apply for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment?
- Marital Status: Only unmarried men and women.
- Nationality: Indian citizens (as per Government of India rules).
- Minimum Marks: Usually 60% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying degree/exam. Final-year students can apply but must complete the degree with required marks before joining.

Extra for Pilot / NAOO / ATC: You also need 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th & 12th, plus at least 60% in English in Class 10th or 12th.
- Logistics Branch: One of these options:
- BE / B.Tech (First Class), OR
- MBA (First Class), OR
- B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc (IT) (First Class) + PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management, OR
- MCA / M.Sc (IT) (First Class).

- M.Sc / MA with 60% marks in subjects like Maths, Physics, Operational Research, Meteorology, Oceanography, etc., OR

Selection Methodology of Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment
- No Written Exam – Selection focuses on your academic marks and personality.
- Shortlisting Applications are shortlisted based on normalized marks from your qualifying degree (e.g., up to 5th semester for final-year BE/B.Tech students). Shortlisted candidates get notified via email/SMS.
- SSB Interview (5 Days) Attend the Services Selection Board (SSB) for tests on intelligence, psychology, group tasks (GTO), and personal interview. This assesses your officer-like qualities.
- Medical Examination SSB-recommended candidates undergo a detailed medical check-up at military hospitals (strict standards apply, especially for Pilot/NAOO/Submarine entries).
- Final Merit List Merit is prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness. Selected candidates join as Sub Lieutenant at INA Ezhimala in January 2027.
