Eligibility Requirements
Education
- Passed Matriculation from a recognized board.
- Must have passed Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects in 10th (or equivalent qualification recognized by Punjab Govt).
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: – General: 37 years
- SC/BC (Punjab): 42 years
- Punjab Govt/Central Govt Employees: 45 years
- Ex-Servicemen (Punjab): As per 1982 Rules
- PwD (Punjab): 47 years
- Widows/Divorcees & certain women categories: up to 40 years

Hiring Process of PSSSB Group D
Written Test:
All applicants will appear for a multiple-choice exam. Marks from this test will decide the merit position.
Document Checking:
Candidates shortlisted on merit will be asked to show original certificates for age, education, category, and Punjab residence.
Tie Resolution:
If marks are equal, the older applicant will be ranked higher. If age is also the same, Class 10 marks will be considered.
