Eligibility Requirments
Educational Requirements
- Project Engineer: A full-time B.E./B.Tech or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or Computer Science. You need at least 60% marks (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Project Supervisor (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical): A full-time Diploma in the matching engineering field (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical). Minimum 60% marks (or 50% for SC/ST).
- Project Supervisor (Safety): A full-time Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, plus a recognized Safety Certificate (like NEBOSH, IOSH, OHSAS, or Industrial Safety).
Minimum Work Experience
- Project Engineer: At least 5 years after your qualification, in fields like control systems, embedded hardware, railway signaling, or similar.
- Project Supervisor: At least 2 years post-qualification, focusing on installing and commissioning solar PV systems, power plants, or infrastructure projects.
Important Note: Time spent as a trainee or apprentice doesn’t count toward experience.
Age Limits (Calculated as of 1 December 2025)
- Project Engineer: Maximum 35 years.
- Project Supervisor: Maximum 32 years.
Relaxations for Reserved Categories:
- SC/ST: +5 years

Monthly Consolidated Salary
- Project Engineer (FTA Grade I) – First Year: ₹95,000 – Second Year: ₹1,00,000
- Project Supervisor (FTA Grade III) – First Year: ₹45,000 – Second Year: ₹48,000

Mode of Selection
