Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • General Duties: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Technical Trades: ITI certificate in (Electrician, Carpenter, Fitter, Plumber, AC & Refrigeration, or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant – COPA).

Age Limit (calculated as on 06 February 2026)

  • Upper Age Limit: 25 years for Unreserved (UR) candidates.
  • Permissible Relaxations:
    • SC/ST categories: Up to 5 years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 3 years
    • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 10 years (further relaxation applicable as per category)
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidates will be appointed in the following pay structure:

  • Pay Level: Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission
  • Basic Pay Range: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
  • Approximate Gross Monthly Salary: ₹36,000/- (inclusive of House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance, etc., based on Jamshedpur rates)
