Eligibility Requirments
Qualification Criteria
- Revenue Inspector (RI): Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university + basic computer knowledge.
- ICDS Supervisor (Women only): Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Village Agricultural Worker (VAW): +2 Science or +2 Vocational in agriculture streams (Crop Production, Horticulture, or Farm Machinery). OUAT Agriculture Diploma holders get 5% bonus marks in the written exam.
- Junior Assistant (JA): Bachelor’s degree (+3) in Arts, Science, Commerce, or equivalent + computer skills.
- Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI): 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent, OR Diploma in Engineering (AICTE-approved) + computer knowledge.
- Amin: 10+2 or equivalent, OR Diploma in Engineering (AICTE-approved) + computer knowledge.
- Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS): 10+2 from recognized boards like CHSE Odisha, CBSE, or CISCE.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
Age will be calculated based on the HSC (10th) certificate.
Post-wise Age Range:
- RI & ARI: 20 to 42 years
- ICDS Supervisor: 21 to 42 years (Women only)
- VAW, JA, Amin & SFS: 21 to 42 years
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST / SEBC: 5 years
- Women: 5 years (not applicable for ICDS Supervisor as it is women-only)
- Anganwadi Workers (ICDS): Extra 5 years
- PwD: 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST/SEBC PwD)

Salary and Benefits
Appointments carry the following pay scales (Pay Matrix Level, Cell-01):
- RI & ICDS Supervisor: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400 (Level-9).
- VAW: Rs. 21,700 – 69,100 (Level-5).
- JA & ARI: Rs. 19,900 – 63,200 (Level-4).
- Amin & SFS: Rs. 18,000 – 56,900 (Level-3).

Selection Process of OSSSC CRE Vacancy 2026
Stage-I: Written Exam
- MCQ type, 100 marks, 1.5 hours
- Subjects: Maths, General Studies, English, Odia, Computer, Reasoning
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark
- Qualifying marks: 35% (UR/SEBC), 30% (Reserved)
- Candidates shortlisted 3× vacancies
Stage-II: Computer Skill Test
- Practical test, 50 marks, 1 hour
- 40% required to qualify
- Non-qualifying candidates will be rejected
